After playing quiz, and exploring the scientific models at Science centre Port Blair, we were excited to make a visit to the Rajiv Gandhi water sports complex. Among the several places visited with my friends in Andaman and Nicobar Island, this was one of the most enticing destinations.
It is the place which was completely filled with fun and amusement. I was fascinated to see the kids enjoying water sports activities there. The place is situated at the center of the Port Blair and it is a small harbor. From there we went by boat to the nearest Islands. The water sports complex is really amazing, which offers Paddle Boats, Row boats and still more. With one of my friend I had a paddle boat ride and of course the time spent was truly unforgettable. This is a very memorable place which is well known for its battle of Aberdeen fought between the British’s and the Andaman people during 1859.
If anyone who wants to visit the Andaman, I would suggest Rajiv Gandhi water sports complex as the top priority. We were offered with the best possible packages and that too at an affordable cost. This place was one of the best parts of our travel packages. Apart from providing serene water sports experiences, the water sports complex has a historical prominence.
In spite of peak rush and heavy tourists to the place, what really surprised to me to a greater extent is easy availability of food at all the food zones. We had a plenty of choice of South Indian, Chinese, continental and chat items at the nearby restaurants. Few of my friends tasted non-vegetarian cuisine as well. The huge crowd around the place really bothered me, but still I was able to capture the best moments with my camera.
Thus, the place holds a sundry reason which makes it worth visiting the place. A trip to Andaman and Nicobar islands are the perfect travelling destination for beach lovers and wildlife enthusiasts like me. The days spent here are simply awesome. One of the curious destinations, which I and my friends were waiting to visit, was the Cellular Jail Andaman and we started our journey towards it!
